Pure Gold

In a world where gold gleams bright,
Its beauty captivates, a stunning sight.
A metal rare, of great esteem,
Reflecting light, a radiant beam.

For centuries, man’s desire ensues,
To possess this treasure, it imbues
Dreams of wealth and status high,
The yearning for gold, never passing by.

But heed the caution, let wisdom speak,
For gold alone, a soul may not seek.
Beware the worship of mere metal’s hue,
Idols of gold, leading hearts askew.

For gold, though precious, cannot define,
The purpose of life, the grand design.
Beyond the glimmer, there lies a quest,
To seek deeper meaning, to be truly blessed.

In golden dreams, let not your heart stray,
To chase material wealth day by day.
For true richness lies in a heart that’s kind,
In love, compassion, and peace of mind.

The gods above, with watchful eyes,
Grieve the souls trapped by golden ties.
They yearn for us to find a greater truth,
To recognize the eternal, beyond fleeting youth.

So, let us not be blinded by gold’s allure,
But seek the treasures that endure.
The beauty within, the love we share,
The joys of life that gold can’t compare.

In balance, cherish what gold may bring,
But remember the true essence of everything.
Seek the wealth of spirit, the light within,
For in that journey, true happiness begins.
