Regrets

Regrets
I have a few
Some very old
Some brand new

The wrongs I did
The wrongs I said
Many hearts
That I bled

But I heard
A whisper
Not feint
Crisper

Is that you
God
Are you here
To wipe
My tear

A voice so loud
Pointed
At me
From the cloud

My son
A price to pay
Now and forever
Your old life
You must sever

A kind word
A gentle action
Heals and mends
This dissatisfaction

I will guide you
To heal the pain
In others
A greater interaction.
